Repair compound for quick and permanent repair of damaged/cracked metal fuel tanks.. After curing it has very high hardness and resistance to oil, petrol, diesel and many other chemicals. After 60 minutes it can be sanded, processed and painted. Resistant to regular exposure to temperatures of 120 °C. For a short time - up to 180°C.
METHOD OF USE 1. Very important - thoroughly clean the area to be repaired from rust and other contaminants, such as with a metal brush or sandpaper, and degrease. 2. Cut a piece of the repair material and knead with your hands for about 2 minutes, mix well until it becomes a solid color. An increase in the temperature of the kneaded mass is the signal to start the hardening process. 3. Immediately apply the compound to the area to be repaired, then rub thoroughly, completely covering the damaged area and the area around it for at least three centimeters. 4. Initial curing time 8-12 minutes, depending on ambient temperature. 5. Total curing time 60 min. After 180 minutes, the tank can be filled with fuel. 6. It is not recommended to repair at temperatures below 5?C, as the curing process will be significantly longer.
