  • A urea solution is injected into the pre-selective reduction catalyst in the exhaust systems of diesel cars, and the reaction between the solution and the nitrogen oxide gas passing over the catalyst converts the nitrogen oxide gas and particulates into water vapor and nitrogen. Using this technology, engine performance is optimized, particulate emissions are reduced and fuel energy is maximized. Another important result of the process is an average 5% reduction in fuel consumption.

AdBlue liquid is not dangerous for humans and animals. It is non-toxic, non-flammable and non-explosive. The liquid crystallizes when the temperature is below -11 °C, but this has no effect on its subsequent use - after starting the car, the liquid warms up and does not lose its quality.
AdBlue liquid is more dangerous at high temperatures, i.e. 35 °C and above. At high temperatures, the liquid irreversibly breaks down into individual chemical elements, so it is extremely important to take care of the proper storage of AdBlue. AdBlue must be stored away from heating devices or direct sunlight.
If the liquid gets on the skin, it must be washed immediately with a large amount of water. If this liquid has entered the mouth, it is necessary to immediately drink plenty of water and consult a doctor as soon as possible.
